Dr. Joshua Wells
Dr. Wells holds a Bachelors from Lee University in Pastoral Ministry, a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University, and an earned Doctorate in Christian Counseling. He is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor with advanced certification and a Certified Temperament Counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association. Joshua has advanced certification in group therapy, and advanced certification in integrated marriage and family therapy.
Dr. Wells is married to his gorgeous wife Cathy. They also have two girls, Eden and Aria. Dr. Wells is also a minister of the gospel and leader of the prayer team at his local church in Charlotte, NC. He speaks/preaches at churches, serves on panels, and leads workshops throughout the Carolinas. He has authored Servanthood, “Serving to Lead”.
Dr. Wells is also a graduate of the Leadership of York County (LYCO) as a part of the Rock Hill Chamber of Commerce. He also is a referral partner for Logos Health in Gastonia, NC. HOPEWells has an office in Gastonia, NC (main office), Charlotte, NC, and Rock Hill, SC.
Dr. Wells has worked with the youth for years as a counselor with the Boys & Girls Club of America for over 4 years. Dr. Wells has also worked in the local school system for 3 years as a special ed. asst./TA.
Dr. Wells has been in the mental health field and marriage counseling realm since 2008. With clients coming in from literally all over the world, Dr. Wells has seen numerous couples with diverse issues that are able to see the love of God and repair. Over 80% of them achieve success through God’s grace.
Dr. Wells is humbled by the ministry opportunities he has had with diverse companies and teams that he has the privilege of serving. He believes in the word of God for HOPEWells and all therapy.
